INTRODUCTION

Pengurusan Pasir Pahang Berhad (PPPB) is a company based on sand mining activities. The establishment of PPPB was agreed and approved in the 23rd/2018 Pahang State Government Meeting which convened on 1 August 2018.

As a company related to the State of Pahang, it is targeted to help generate income to develop the State of Pahang through efficient management in managing sand production operations.

Peranan Kami

  • PPPB is a facilitator that manages the approval of concessions and operations through the approval of Temporary Occupation License (LPS) coupled with a Permit for assistance materials (sand) issued by the Pahang State Government.
  • PPPB aims to reduce wastage through joint efforts under the administration of the State Secretary.

Objective of establishment

Registration

To identify sand operators in Pekan and Rompin and register them as concession holders and contractors with PPPB.

Application

To identify sand operators in Pekan and Rompin and register them as concession holders and contractors with PPPB.

Production & Sales

To grant the right to extract and sell sand to concession holders and contractors registered with PPPB

Point of Payments

To pay all fees such as application fees, premium payments, royalty collections, contributions, deposits, and others to the State Authority.

Management of permits

To assist in managing the export permit (AP) from the Federal Government to export sand abroad, including managing sales and exports.

Compliance

To ensure that the sand production carried out complies with all regulations, whether established by the State or Federal Government.

Support

To bear any liability, fines, claims, or legal actions that have been imposed by the State or Federal Government in the event of a breach of conditions.

Dividend & contributions

Sharing the income through the distribution of dividends to shareholders and also through corporate social responsibility contributions to the local community, particularly in the state of Pahang.
